Wallows played an energetic set at Stage AE on June 12, 2022 for their Tell Me That It’s Over Tour. With a nearly sold out venue, and a hot day of standing in line, the band had thousands of people waiting for their chance to see them perform live.

Fans were in the venue’s queue starting as early as 8am on the day of the show. Wallows has a large fanbase, and ever since the lockdown, they have grown even more. Everyone was eager to get as close to the barricade as possible, so the line was lengthy by noon!

As the band, consisting of Braeden Lemasters (guitar/vocals), Dylan Minnette (guitar/vocals/percussion), and Cole Preston (drums/vocals) took the stage, the crowd went ballistic. Everyone was so excited to hear their favorite songs performed. Wallows opened strong with their song “Hard To Believe” off of their newest album Tell Me That It’s Over, which has proven to be a fan favorite. Throughout their show, the band mixed both old songs and new songs onto the setlist. To keep things fresh, Wallows also chooses one “fan pick,” or song that the crowd shouts out. For this show, they decided to do three, which were “Do Not Wait,” “Sidelines,” and “I’m Full” which were all off of their previous album, Nothing Happens.

Multiple mosh-pits formed throughout their set, and it brought up the boys’ energy. The crowd was looking out for each other, which made this crazy pit even more enjoyable! During their first released song, “Pleaser,” a huge circle formed and everyone waited for the bridge build up. When it dropped, we all danced and sang and jumped with one another. Not only do they perform with ease, but they also have brought so many friends together at their shows.Wallows definitely showed Pittsburgh a wonderful time, and the boys found the crowd just as fun, too.
